Artist Jackson Ordean Receives Achievement Award

Jackson Ordean's 'Redemption, Ilwaco WA' 22" x 30" colorful watercolor won an Honorable Mention at the just closed 8/9/2014 Alpine Artists' Holiday Regional Art Show in Ouray, CO. Some 250 art works were accepted. When asked what he thought about the award, Ordean said, "I was stoked! My style is not the favorite style of the judge at this show. First, Second and Third places were all photo realism rather than the slightly cartoon like Expressionism that my work tends to fit into. Not only that, my other painting sold for $450! Stoked is definitely the word!".
