Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Vaquero, a beautiful, but troubled, I found out later, SW Colorado horse inspired this watercolor painting. The complex of emotions I felt, but didn't understand, was confusing and disturbing to me while I was doing my best to give him justice in paint. His owner later explained how I had captured feeling in him I didn't really know about at the time of painting. If you are a horse person, the above ramblings will make sense. Enyoy Vaquero, who has been blessed with a new home now where he hopefully will learn to accept peace in a safe, new environment. Blessings.

When I had the pleasure of interviewing Jackson Ordean, he began by telling me he grew up barefoot and shirtless in a small art colony town on the beach..." pungent salt and seaweed smells up my nose and the natural 'music' in my ears of foamy water flowing over gravelly sand. It was all a crystal clear world without words. People spoke 'at' me in staccato sounds I didn't really hear, but I abstractly saw each facial expression and their moving mouths... I was in my own world of feelings and pictures...all I knew that was real and true at the time." He shared that at some point in his life journey,"... my 'left' brain turned on, about the end of High School, and it was as if someone had punched the 'reset' button. I enthusiastically...
